I made the basket with Fall Fabrics and Ribbon and I embroidered a fall design on some hand towels, then I filled the basket with homemade Pumpkin/Chocolate Chip Bread, homemade Honey Cinnamon Butter in little jars, the fall towel and a bag of coffee. I printed all the labels from Pinterest.
I am excited to review the Capris/Pants with Ruffle Pattern by Whimsy Couture Sewing Patterns. This tutorial is very thorough and detailed with steps by step photos however I do not feel this pattern would be easy enough for a beginner sewer to follow. The tutorial and pattern downloaded and printed easily. All the pattern pieces lined up perfectly and are clearly marked for each size. The pattern contains a list of required materials, It also has a sizing chart that shows the inseam measurements as well as the amount of fabric needed for each piece. A large range of sizes are included in this pattern: NB – 10. You will be able to use this pattern for years. The ruffle on these pants can be cut in varying widths of about 1″ to max. about 6-7″ for wide ruffles for bigger sizes and can be layered. This pattern could also be used with or without the ruffles and could also be used for boys. This pattern has an elastic waist.
I was discussing with my daughter about making my grandson something cute for Fall or Halloween and decided I should make two outfits and put one on my Etsy site and then I decided to make this third matching girls outfit. I made these size 5T ruffle pants to sell on my Etsy site Grandma’s Sewing Studio and embroidered a shirt to match. I love the way these pants look. Overall this pattern is easy and doesn’t take long at all to make.
This is my Fall Garland with owls that I posted the fabrics for previously. I am thinking of making some leaves on the embroidery machine and adding later.
