I attended FiberFest in Plaquemine Louisiana this weekend and Friday I took a needle tatting class. I definitely need a lot more practice with that but its something that I want to learn. Saturday, I took a Rug Punch class that Lisanne from P is for Primitive in Canton Mississippi was teaching. I did a Gingerbread Boy Pillow and managed to finish it last night. I also bought the Gingerbread Girl Kit and plan to start on it today and then I want to do the Santa Pillow that I bought a long time ago.
This is my Fall Garland with owls that I posted the fabrics for previously. I am thinking of making some leaves on the embroidery machine and adding later.
My daughter redid my grandson’s bath in Mickey Mouse so I did these towels on my embroidery machine to coordinate with the other items she used and the bath turned out amazing. They really did a great job. The Mickey Mouse designs are appliques and were purchased from an Etsy shop called “FindmeonFBplease” and they turned out wonderful.
I had to share this one. I wish I had realized some of these points when I was younger. It took quite a few Anxiety medications and therapy for me to realize some of this. I am going to find the books mentioned in this and read them. I weeded out all the negativity in my life and now I focus more on family, friends, and sewing projects instead of the things in life that I cannot control.
